2021 Fall Hygiene Seminar – Digital Treatment Planning in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry

Digital dentistry has evolved over the past 20 years and has recently become a mainstay in many dental practices. From digital smile design, CBCT scans, intraoral scanners, facial scanners, photogrammetry scanners, AI practice software technology, etc… we have entered a technological renaissance. The equipment is becoming more accurate, cost effective, and widely adopted by many practitioners and laboratories around the world. Over a number of years we have integrated many of these technologies into our practice and would like to share our insights on how they can enhance communication, efficiency, and treatment outcomes. Regardless if you are currently using any of these devices in your office or not; this seminar will be beneficial in reviewing many of the emerging concepts and digital workflows.

We will discuss:

  • The benefits and pitfalls of digital dentistry
  • Specific digital workflows for single or multi-tooth implant restorations
  • How digital dentistry can help us deliver provisional and definitive restorations in an efficient workflow to improve our practice profitability and clinical predictability
